primal, simple, and profoundly rewarding
way to spark your J O Y and intuitive creative self !
This is a j o u r n e y, that is about re-discovering your I N N A T E musical self.
This class is less about ''getting it right'', and more about using music and expression as a
way to Healthy, Happy, R E S O N A N T Living.
In this FUN, and dynamic 8 week session, we'll embark on a
wholistic journey of s o u n d, Song, R H Y T H M, imagery, and feeling.
We'll play games, and use simple multi-cultural songs and rhythms that form the
guiding principles of drumming wisdom, and L I F E as musical relationship.
We'll learn, play and practice experiencing rhythm with our whole bodies, exploring a rhythmic vocabulary while developing the universal fundamentals of hand drumming.
This class is less about getting it "right",
and more about M U S I C A L S P I R I T !
Perculating your natural creativity, and building the confidence,
to share it for the collective upliftment of the circle.

ABOUT the Guide:
Marcus Fung is a student of Life, and a lover of the great Mystery.
He continues to journey, deepening the joyous understanding that
Music is Life and Life is Music.
He is devoted to the sharing, of music for the people, by people. Guiding others in re-discovering their rich, and innate M U S I C A L S P I R I T!
A Early Childhood Music and Movement Educator, he is also a
Grant Macewan Music Graduate In Jazz Performance, and Composition.
He is a trained and seasoned Drum Circle Facilitator under the Arthurian Guiding Principles.
Although Studied in various forms of traditional drum styles. Marcus prefers most, the form
of intuitive, resonant, creative and expressive drumming.
Marcus has presented, and shared in:
classrooms, communities, churchs, camps, conferences, colleges, group-homes,
offices, yoga studios, festivals, fundraisers and gatherings accross Alberta.
